Gilbert Gottfried

At the young age of 15, Gilbert Gottfried began doing stand-up at open mike nights in New York City, after a few short years, became known around town as “the comedian’s comedian.” He was soon hired on Saturday Night Live, and broke-out after a series of improvised promos for MTV. Since then Gilbert has been a staple on TV, with dozens of appearances on major talk shows, guest spots on every televised roast, and numerous contributions to documentaries (both comedic and about classic movies).

In the last few years Gilbert has released his own special, Gilbert Gottfried Dirty Jokes, and starred in a documentary about himself, Gilbert. He’s a lifelong resident of NYC along with his wife and two children. He has never had a driver’s license.

Frank Santopadre has created comedy material for Bill Murray, Meryl Streep, Martin Short, Tiffany Haddish and the Boston Red Sox, among others. He’s written award shows (The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, The TV Land Awards, The Writers Guild Awards), roasts (The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne, The Comedy Central Roast of Pamela Anderson) and talk shows (The View, The Joy Behar Show, The Howard Stern Show). He is also the co-producer and co-host of Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast!
